The Coming Year
Our Library depends on our volunteers to open up and help visitors and members. We need two volunteers for every day the library is open so that they are able to take a break if it is busy; they are not working alone as this is unsafe and so that money is handled by two people.
Helping others research can be very rewarding and can also brush up your research skills. It is surprising the number of resources that you will find. So you can learn how the library operates and where everything is kept, follow the more experienced librarian around for the day. Remember that being at the Society for either the Saturday morning or afternoon has always been the practice. You do not need to stay for the whole day.
If there are any gaps in our roster below please consider helping for all or some of that day. There is a message box on this page below the roster if you are able to volunteer some time at the Society. Fill in the times that you are able to spare and a message will automatically be sent to both the Newsletter Editor and the Webmaster.
