Walking Tour of the Congregational Section
of Sandgate Cemetery, in conjunction with
Northern Cemeteries and ABC Newcastle
Registration for our tours has now closed as all our tours are full - even after adding two extra ones. There just isn’t time in the day to add more.
Our tours are not the only thing happening at Sandgate on Sunday, 26 May and are the only part of the day that must be booked. Northern Cemeteries has these other events planned between 10.00am and 3.00pm. For times and speakers please download the information sheet.

If you’ve missed out, there is still a way you can experience our tours: come to the Cemetery Open Day (see program above) and ask cemetery staff or NFHS volunteers for a copy of the tour booklet from 2018 showing 17 graves in the Presbyterian Cemetery. In it you will find a map and information about the 17 graves so that you can then enjoy a self-guided tour. And watch out for publicity next April for our 2020 tour!

While no tours remain for Sunday, 26 May, if you are planning to be at Sandgate for the Cemetery Open Day, please send our organiser your
contact details and mobile number so if we do get a cancellation in a tour we will contact you and you can walk across and join us.
